With a rich cultural heritage dating back thousands of years, the City of Sacramento, California, is one of our nation’s most diverse. The indigenous culture of its original Native American inhabitants is still present in this remarkable city, as are reminders of its California Gold Rush history. As you’d expect from a city with such a rich heritage, Sacramento is home to numerous museums and cultural points of interest, which include the Crocker Art Museum, the California State Capitol and Museum, and the California State Railroad Museum, among others. Furthermore, prospective homebuyers will be pleased to discover a long list of additional benefits of living in Sacramento, such as top-notch recreation possibilities, exciting entertainment options, and varied shopping and dining choices.
The city is divided into multiple districts, each distinct and encompassing numerous smaller communities. These smaller Sacramento neighborhoods offer their own unique advantages. For example, the Sacramento neighborhood known as Land Park offers residents an alluring laid-back ambiance in addition to numerous family-friendly destinations. The neighborhood is named after William Land Park, which is home to the Sacramento Zoo, a jogging path, fishing pond, Funderland Amusement Park, a golf course, and the Fairytale Town play park. Furthermore, there are charming brunch spots, hip burger joints, delightful ice cream parlors, and a few tap houses and craft breweries in the area. Sacramento homes for sale in the Land Park neighborhood are primarily single-family properties located north of Sutterville Road, south of Broadway, east of Interstate 5 and west of Freeport Boulevard.
Additional Sacramento single-family homes are available in the nearby Curtis Park neighborhood. This large residential community is bounded by Sutterville Road on the south, Broadway Avenue on the north, Freeport Boulevard on the west, and Highway 99 on the east. Homes for sale in Curtis Park include a wide variety of vintage properties, including 1920s Revival-style subdivisions, Bungalows, and Victorian homes. Because of the diversity of real estate in the Land Park and Curtis Park neighborhoods, listing prices for homes fall across a vast range. With every home I sell I sponsor a dog’s adoption at the Front Street Animal Shelter
You can adopt a dog yourself, let a friend or family member adopt the dog, or if you choose, I’ll sponsor the adoption in your name. Then, anyone can go down to the shelter and adopt the dog.
I usually sponsor the dog that has been at the shelter the longest. We have found that once a dog has been sponsored, even if they have been at the shelter for many months, they will usually get adopted within 2 weeks.
